Klimex offers consulting, design and construction of plants for controlled atmosphere for fruits or vegetables and also solutions related to control of the composition of air in indoor spaces.

Controlled atmosphere is one of the new areas for long-term preservation of fruits and vegetables, it allows maintaining the quality of products months after the end of the season in which they are gathered.

Plants which have installations for controlled atmosphere, can not only control the temperature and relative humidity in their storage spaces, but also the composition of air.

All fruits and vegetables continue to "breathe" after they have been gathered for storage. This process not only adds additional heat load in the cold rooms, but also allows for influence on the duration of storage.

Klimex had specialists trained in the Netherlands back in 2004 and has since prepared several projects for a number of facilities in Bulgaria.
